Sunday School begins at 9:30 AM
The Sunday School ministry of Trinity United Methodist Church offers safe age specific environments which foster a healthy respect for God and others. All participants are lovingly encouraged to grow toward spiritual maturity and readiness for service to Jesus and others.
Ephesians 4:12, 13 “to equip the Saints for the work of ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ, till we all come to the unity of the faith and of the knowledge of the Son of God to a perfect man, to the measure of the stature of the fullness of Christ.”
Age 3-1st grade: Pam Taulker and Deb Reiter use crafts, music, worksheets and a “meaningful” snack to teach Godly principles and Bible accounts. Children begin learning who Jesus is and what He accomplished on this earth.
Grade 2-4: Children learn the authority of the Bible and begin a chronological study of the Bible with Answers in Genesis lead by Annalisa Schilling and Heather Crawford. These students are prepared to defend God's Word and recognize it as the one and only source of Truth.
Grades 5-8: Leann Tyson takes junior high students through the SWAMP. Serving With A Major Purpose gets these kids using their faith in the real world. Students are challenged to apply the Christian values they learn in class to their everyday lives.
Adults are invited to attend Sunday school
Truthseekers - This class is for adults who want to study the Bible. The Truthseekers class utilizes a quarterly curriculum which looks at various books of the Bible.
Faithbuilders - This class is for adults who have questions. The Faithbuilders class addresses topics concerning the Christian faith openly and honestly. This class studies topics relevant to the Christian faith which are applicable to everyday life! Faithbuilders meet upstairs in classroom
